The MODX integration for Shopify is built and maintained by modmore. During the installation of the Shopify app, you grant the integration permission to access your shops' products, and to create new orders. This access is shared with the MODX website under your control (or under the control of your MODX partner).
We only store information that is absolutely necessary for the Integration or to comply with Shopify's App Store Requirements. For example, we must store your shop domain to connect and authorize, and we must store the number of published products and last synchronisation time to comply with Shopify's requirements. While the access you grant gives us permission to access your product data, product data is only persisted within your MODX website.
The access your MODX website has can be revoked at any time from within the Shopify Admin by navigating to the MODX Sales Channel and choosing Disconnect. Alternatively, you can also choose Disconnect from within the MODX manager.
When removing the MODX Sales Channel app from your Shopify store, ALL related information on our systems will be automatically removed 48 hours later. Any still connected MODX site will also lose access right away.
Standard server monitoring is in place on this server which may log your IP address and limited technical information when either using the MODX Sales Channel App inside the Shopify Admin, or when first authorizing the App. This information is only, if ever, used for fraud prevention or technical analysis for non-commercial use only.
Through your use of the Integration, modmore does not collect or store any other or personally identifiable information about you, your store, or your customers.
We do not sell or share any collected data with third parties except when legally required or mandated by Shopify's requirements.
